Interiors on Location.
Shooting interiors on location brings its own challenges, it is not usual to find a mix of lighting, casting a multitude of colours everywhere. Understanding and filtering such colours is one of the challenges of interior photography, the focus of an interior shot maybe just one small element within the image, but it is critical that a product is shown in it's true colour, yet remain sympathetic to it's environment.
People at Work.
Often the best way to demonstrate a process is to show it in the production line.
The inclusion of the human element adds a sense of scale and connection to the work involved. We have worked in many environments around the world, working within the confines of health and safety and with members of staff to add a dynamic element to the photographs in the working environment.
Adding the human element also helps to show potential and existing corporate investors the ethics and philosophy that the company benefits to the local community.
Leading Pages.
Strong, bold and simple images make for good leading pages to a sub section of a catalogue or brochure, photo's need to give an essence of the section without giving away too much detail.
Bringing Ideas to Life.
An idea is just that, until it is brought to life. Interpreting a persons vision is a complex process, collating research material and creating visuals until a final idea can be clearly described on paper. Conceptual Photography is often the most expensive type to commission, so working out the logistics and assembling the right team to ensure that deadlines and budgets are adhered, is crucial.
Exterior Location Photography.
Working outdoors brings it's own challenges. Whether it is an architectural photograph or conveying the potential of a landscape to a developer, the quality of light is important. An image becomes a record of a static subject with no emotion when shot under the wrong conditions, sometimes adding secondary lighting can enhance and uplift an otherwise mundane photograph.
The Difference is Light.
Sometimes it is a challenge to make the most boring product look inspiring, lighting plays a key roll in effective product photography. An image has to convey a 3rd dimension not available with a 2D image. The texture, volume and transparency etc. have to be conveyed yet still clearly show the product without distortion. Often these types of images are the only reference's impending buyers have to buy from, so the key features of the products functionality also have to be clearly visible.
